Goals from Victor Moses and Eden Hazard see Chelsea to FA Cup Qfinals

Chelsea head on into the FA Cup quarter-finals courtesy of a hard-fought 2-0 win over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

After a rather slow first half with few chances at either end, Chelsea came back with a fiery touch in the second half as the Blues took the lead 5 minutes after the break when Ramires connected with a pass from Fernado Torres sending the ball in the net with a header. AFCON Champion Victor Moses   doubled the lead for the Blues after excellent build-up play from the substitute Eden Hazard. Moses had a good night as his effort and overall performance for his side team was outstanding all through the night.

Chelsea will be making a trip to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford a week on Sunday in the FA quarter-finals. The Blues are on course for a fifth cup triumph in seven seasons.

An excited Moses tweeted this right after the match-"Great to be in the quarterfinals, great team performance. Always good to get a goal too #chelsea."

Nigeria’s Mikel Obi was not listed for the match.
