Cristiano Ronaldo's eye injury update.

Blinder: Ronaldo still managed to score after the eye injury
After a very nasty clash with Levante, Real Madrid star Ronaldo will undergo several tests this week to ensure he will be fit to play anytime soon.
Ronaldo temporarily lost his vision in both eyes after he was caught by David Navarro's elbow in the face, he eventually returned to the field and even scored the opening goal for Real Madrid but in the second-half of the game, coach Jose Mourinho confirmed he was unable to go on in the game.


Jose Mourinho in a conference after the 2-1 away win praised his Real Madrid players ability to adapt and cope with bad and hostile conditions including Cristiano Ronaldo's injury and still claim a 2-1 victory over Levante on Sunday. "we adapted to the condition and it was an honest battle between serious people who gave everything in search of a result-Mourinho. Continuing he stated, "the team had to draw on all its character and strength and we were deserved winners. I had never won here and they are three extremely important points"
The blow which left one side of Ronaldo's  face covered in blood had affected his compatriots vision and he is due to have tests on his return to the Spanish capital. Ronaldo will miss the Portugal's midweek friendly against Gabon.
