After making
his full debut against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Communities League Cup, new
Celtic center back Efe Ambrose has quickly settled into life at Parkhead. Ambrose
who showed his talent in the game against Raith Rovers was widely praised by
manager Neil Lennon, for his control, pace, range of passing and general
confidence on and off the ball.
But after
helping Nigeria qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, the Nigerian international
will miss a huge chunk of this season as the tournament will take place from
January 19 to February 10, which will mean Ambrose could possible miss out on
all of the games during this period, depending on how well they perform.
He was however delighted to send Nigeria on
their way and looks forward to representing his country as he stated-"Going
and winning in South Africa won't be easy because there are good teams in
Africa and we know that. But we think we can be the best." Efe Ambrose.
