Results: 2015 Nations cup qualifiers

Although current AFCON champions Nigeria have bowed out of the qualifiers after their 2-2 draw with South Africa, Africa's favorites Ivory Coast, along with Ghana and Cameroon have all qualified for the 2015 edition of the Nations Cup.

From Group E, Ghana's Mubarak Wakaso netted a beautiful long-range strike in their 3-1 victory over Togo to book their place at the finals. The Black Stars topped their group with 11 points and will be joined by Guinea whose 2-0 win over Uganda in Morocco sealed their runners-up spot.

In Group D, top rated African team Ivory Coast reserved their Nations Cup spot after a rather dull 0-0 draw with Cameroon's 10-man squad, the Indomitable Lions were down by 1 player after Stephane Mbia was sent off right before the final whistle in Abidjan. Cameroon made the event with their top position in Group D with 14 points, Ivory Coast following behind with 4 points ans showed little or no enthusiasm in the game as it ended with either side making the net, or even showing a desire to do so.

Africa's number 1 team on FIFA World ranking Algeria are also headed to the finals inspite of their 2-0 loss to Mali who also qualified for the competition.

2015 AFCON QUALIFIED TEAMS:
Algeria, Mali, Cape Verde Islands, South Africa, Congo, IVORY COAST, Ghana, Cameroon, Tunisia, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Senegal and Equatorial Guinea
