Luis Suarez joins Barcelona from Liverpool

Barcelona have confirmed that Uruguayan player Luis Suarez has left Liverpool to join Barcelona on a 5-year contract, the transfer fee is reportedly £75m. Barcelona who already have Lionel Messi and Neymar will boost their strike force even more with this new addition.
FIFA recently rejected appeals from the Uruguayan FA and from Suarez over last month's ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini during their World Cup match against Italy. His new deal if completed will become the third most expensive deal in football history following Real Madrid's signing of Gareth Bale, the deal cost a whopping 100 million and off Course Cristiano Ronaldo €94 million deal.

A statement on Liverpoolfc.com read: “ Liverpool FC confirms that Luis Suarez will be leaving the club after a transfer agreement was reached with FC Barcelona. The player now has permission to complete the usual formalities, which will then conclude the transfer.
We would like to thank Luis for his contribution and the role he played in helping bring Champions League football back to Anfield.

Everyone at Liverpool Football Club wished Luis and his family well for the future.”

Suarez will be traveling to Barca next week for a medical after which the contracts will be concluded.
The 27-year-old who has received several fines and disciplinary action over his unsportsmanlike behavior, was the Premier League top scorer last season, he scored 31 goals for Liverpool. Suarez however will not be able to play for his new side until the end of October; he was expelled from the World Cup in Brazil last month and was handed a 9-match competitive international ban as well as a 4-month suspension from any football-related activities over the very shameful biting incident.
