Obafemi
Martins or better yet, Obagoal scored his first goal for Seattle
Sounders giving them their first win of the season.
The
Sounders won their first league game of the season against the Colorado Rapids
1-0 in Commerce City, Colo. on Saturday courtesy of Obafemi's goal which also happened
to be his first MLS goal.
The
Nigeria international passed a late fitness test, started the game and fired
the match winner in the 27th minute to silence the Colorado
Rapids fans.
The former Levante of Spain striker scored from a rebound after Colorado goalkeeper Clint Irwin saved a shot from Shalrie Joseph.

In
celebration, Martins performed one of his signature backflips.
My
guess: The Seattle Sounders will have to get used to winning and backflips this
season.
