Liverpool wants Nigeria’s Emenike as potential replacement for Luis Suarez.

Emenike is being considered as a potential replacement for Liverpool's prolific forward Luis Suarez whom both Barcelona and Manchester City have declared their interest in, this will be a big loss to Liverpool if he were to leave.

According to the Express,  Liverpool are reportedly considering  the 2013 AFCON star for a summer swap as they are not sure of holding onto Luiz Suarez who may depart Anfield in the summer.

The 25 year old Spartak Moscow striker finished the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations tournament with 4 goals making him the joint top scorer with Wakosa,  Emenike was very useful in Nigeria’s recent victory in South Africa and has continued to generate a great deal of interest from prospective suitors.
Emenike has had something of a controversial career to date, having been charged with match-fixing by the Turkish authorities. This related to an allegation that whilst at Karabukspor he feigned an injury to avoid selection, which led to his side losing to Fenerbahce, a side he then signed for but never played a game with the Istanbul side.
According to Russian paper Izvestia, Emenike has a price tag of £10m.
Arsenal and Reading have also been credited with an interest in Emenike, and even sent scouts to see him play during just concluded the Nations Cup.

The striker said he is aware of the interest of EPL teams in him and expressed his desire to play in the Premier League in the near future.
