Traore denies the Super Eagles their first victory in the Nations Cup-Nigeria 1 VS 1 Burkina Faso

Last minute drama! Ten-man Nigeria was held to a 1-1 draw as Burkina Faso scored with the last kick of their in the opening match leaving the eagles no choice but regain their ground.Alain Traore denied the Super Eagles any chance of victory as he slid home in the 94th minute. . The Super Eagles had taken the lead in the first half through Emanuel Emenike who converted a quick pass from Ukriane-based forward Ideye Brown, the Eagles however failed to kill the game off. Burkina Faso pressed and pressed and their determination eventually paid off.
With Efforts from Uche Ikechuwkwu, the Eagles had their chance to double the lead after a semi impressive first-half, however, the drift of the match changed for the Eagles when Celtic’s Efe Ambrose who plays center of defense was sent off in the 75th minute of the game after picking up a yellow card in both halves.
