John Terry calls on Chelsea to retire Frank Lampard’s No 8 shirt.

The impending departure of Chelsea FC’s midfielder Frank Lampard has caused quite a stir among fans and even teammates who want him to remain with the Blues. The English player who joined the club 12 years ago is expected to leave Stamford Bridge when his existing deal expires in the summer following how he is yet to agree a new contract extension.
In reference to Lampard’s agent Steve Kutner comments which confirms his departure, Chelsea’s Captain John Terry posted a picture of him and Lampard holding the FA Cup on his Instagram page, he suggested honor Legend by retiring his NO. 8 shirt.
Terry’s Instagram comment: "Devastated is an understatement. We should retire the number 8 shirt in honour of Lamps."
Terry also added a series of one word tributes, including "#theheartbeat#" "#legend#" and "#goal machine. #"
