David Beckham joins French side St Germain (PSG)!


David Beckham agrees to a £150k-a-week deal to play in Paris, the former English midfielder made history by revealing that he will be donating the entire salary from his new contract with Paris St Germain to a children's charity in Paris. Going by his contract, this will be a world’s first as St. Becks will be donating an estimated £3 million to the Cause.
The 37-year-old midfielder who is currently the World’s highest paid player, a title Lionel Messi is bound to soon adopt, signed the five-month deal with PSG who are currently top of Ligue 1 and already have a squad that includes the likes of  Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura,  , Ezequiel Lavezzi and Thiago Silva
Speaking on his decision to play for free, the former England captain said- "I won't receive any salary. My salary will go to a local children's charity. That's one of the things we are excited and proud to do."
Soon after leaving MLS side L.A Galaxy, Beckham announced recently that he would be based permanently in London with his family, however, with his this new move, wife, Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham and their adorable children will remain behind in London as they have since been enrolled in schools.
