Mikel is Chelsea's unsung hero, says Di Matteo
Chelsea FC’S manager Di Matteo says John Obi Mikel is one of
the club’s unsung heroes. Mikel who occupies
the anchor role just in front of the defense only gets rare chances to go
further forward in games this is evidenced by the fact that he is still waiting to
bag his first goal in 135 Premier League appearances for the Blues
However, in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, Mikel scored a rare
goal at the weekend when he converted a penalty in Nigeria's 6-1 win over
Liberia.John Obi Mikel's value to Chelsea often goes unrecognized by the media
