With 2 goals all from the corner in the first-half and a very clever  from Tom Cleverley Manchester United was able to record a 3-0 victory over Newcastle on Sunday moving them to 2nd on the table. Wayne Rooney who now plays as an attacking midfielder was far from invincible, he was helpful in securing the victory for the Red Devil.  Although Newcastle United had 45% of possession in the game, their defense was not so good, the two goals that closed their chances of winning was scored on Man-U corner kicks. In the first-half, it was Jonny Evans corner kick  in the 8th minute which skied over Demba Ba to Robin Persie putting  Manchester United up by 1 and in the 15th minute, Patrice Evra also scored on a header from Wayne Rooney's corner kick.
