Premier League: Clash of the titans this weekend, Manchester United vs Chelsea FC

This weekend will see two Premier League titans go head-to-head, Manchester United will face Chelsea FC who are riding on the wave of a 5-match win on Sunday in the hopes of making a statement this season. Both sides have won five of their last six Premier League games and played out a cautious 0-0 draw at Old Trafford when they met in the reverse fixture at the start of the season.

Blues Manager (the chosen one) Jose Mourinho will take on Manchester United for the first time since his return. While current league title holders United may have less chances of retaining their title this year, the Blues currently occupy the 3rd spot on the table, they are 2 points behind Arsenal who will host Fulham on Saturday, while second-placed Manchester City will welcome Cardiff City in the same weekend.
David Moyes’s side is 11 points behind Mourinho’s side and any form of defeat will deflate further their hopes of making any impact this year. Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney’s injury concern will surely take Manchester United in the defending startup while Danny Welbeck will surely be looking to take the pressures on himself.

Meanwhile, Chelsea already have scored nine goals in their last four matches, with Fernando Torres playing excellent having scored couple of goals in his last three matches. Chelsea will be heading into the game without Frank Lampard and Ivanovic who are facing injury problems and would remain sidelined.
