More transfer news: Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony confirms Swansea City move for a record breaking £12m

Ivory Coast international and former Vitesse Arnhem pstriker Wilfried Bony has signed for Swansea City from Vitesse Arnhem.
The Swans completed the £12m club record signing for the 24-year-old striker from the Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem. Bony's transfer is still subject to work permit clearance but he has passed a medical at the club's pre-season training camp in the Netherlands.

Swansea City broke club record as they paid £12 million ($17.9 million, 13.9 million euros) to seal the deal for the Vitesse Arnhem striker, Bony’s new deal exceeds the £5.5 million paid for Spanish winger Pablo Hernandez last year.

Bony scored 31 goals in 30 Eredivisie games last season and clinched the top scorer award and the Dutch player of the year title.
Bony signed a four-year contract at the Welsh club's pre-season training camp in the Netherlands, they said on their website swanseacity.net.
"This move has been talked about for quite some time, so I am delighted it is all completed," said Bony, who is nicknamed "Daddy Cool" in the Netherlands.
