Beckham's surprise exit at PSG game.

David Beckham was sent off just six minutes after coming on as a substitute in Paris St-Germain's 1-0 win at Evian. The former England Captain was shown a straight red in stoppage time following a lunge on Youssef Adnane. Adnane had to suffer severe pain and the Evian player was left rolling on the field.

Beckham, surprised at the referee’s decision did not seem to think his action was worth the decree as it appeared he made little contact with the Evian player - the bad-tempered match ended in a mass brawl,
with two more red cards shown.

Paris St Germain sporting director Leonardo felt David Beckham was unlucky to be sent off in the closing stages of last night's 1-0 Ligue 1 win at Evian.
"The referee lacked lucidity," the Brazilian told Le Parisien.
"He made mistakes. The red card shown to Beckham, for example, was really unfair.

The 37-year-old’s dismissal, late in PSG’s 1-0 French league win over Evian was the seventh of his career, however, this will be his first for the French side.
