Nigeria’s Flying Eagles arrive Algiers, Algeria ahead of the 2013 African Youth Championship.


Defending champions, Flying Eagles of Nigeria landed in Algiers today ahead of the upcoming 2013 African Youth Championship. The team of 21 players and 12 officials were warmly welcomed by the   Nigerian Ambassador in Algeria, Haruna Ginsau, as well as a large number of Nigerian residents in the country

The team and it’s officials are booked into the Groupe Hotels Adghir in Algiers and will again set out to Oran Thursday morning on board another Air Algeria flight.

According to team's  secretary Ibrahim Lawal, there will be an arrival meeting for the team by the local organizers on Friday by 10am in Oran.

The pre-match meeting for Nigeria’s opening Group B match against Mali, will take place on Saturday by 12 noon at the referees’ hotel.

The match will kick off 5.30 pm.
