Ghanaian international John Paintsil arrested for attacking his wife
The 31-year-old Black Stars defender, John Paintsil was arrested
in Ghana for stabbing his wife in the eye.
According to Greater Accra Police, Paintsil stabbed his wife after a quarrel over money. The wife, Richlove Paintsil, jumped the wall of their home into their neighbors’ home to escape the assault. John allegedly followed her into the neighbor’s house and assaulted the people who tried to stop him from hitting his wife.

The former West Ham and Fulham defender was taken to the
Legon station in the capital Accra on Friday. For now, he is still in police
custody and investigations are already in process. Painstsil is being held for assaulting
his wife and neighbors.
