Ghana defender John Pantsil apologizes for abusing his wife
Ghanaian international John Pantsil has apologized for assaulting
his wife Richlove and admits his actions are "regrettable".
Paintsil was arrested but later granted bail Legon
Police after he attacked his wide during a heated argument Trasacco Valley
residence. His neighbour Amoah Danquah, was also assaulted by the Hapoel Tel
Aviv player.
Speaking to Graphic Sports newspaper, Pantsil said-"I'm
sorry about what has happened in the past few days. But I want to stress,
particularly to the young ones who look up to me, that I'm not a violent person
in character. What happened was just unfortunate,"-Pantsil
"It was a misunderstanding which happens in many
marriages every now and then, but our argument got out of hand.
