Results:Nigeria 0-0 Cape Verde

It was undeniably a game of two halves as the Cape Verdeans dominated the first half while the Nigerians flanked the second. The Crioulo made a bold statement in regards to their preparedness towards the upcoming African Nations Cup as they held the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a goalless draw in a warm-up international in Faro, Portugal, on Wednesday.
Despite several stabs at the net from Eagles including Chelsea’s Obi Mikel attempt 8 minutes from the time, the AFCON debutants, Cape Verde remained resilient as they held their ground till the end driving a 0-0 result.Eagles goalkeeper Austin Ejide was forced to make at least three big saves within the first 15 minutes as Cape Verde poured forward at the Algrave Stadium in Faro, Portugal.

A clear indication for the Super Eagles, more work needs to be done, no time for play, friendly or no friendly, play time is over.
