Demba Ba set to complete move to Chelsea FC.

Senegalese international Demba Ba is currently in talks with English Champions Chelsea FC after Newcastle confirmed that Chelsea has matched the valuation (£7m) in Ba’s contract.
As a result of the meeting, the 27-year-old did not feature for Newcastle in Wednesday’s match against Everton.
Newcastle issued out a statement saying: "Newcastle United can confirm that Chelsea Football Club has made an official offer for Demba Ba which has triggered the release clause in the player's contract.
"The club has given the player permission to speak to Chelsea FC and therefore he will not be included in the squad for tonight's game against Everton."
However before the move, Chelsea insists on Ba taking a medical at the club. The Senegal striker did not undergo the procedure before he joined Newcastle in the summer of 2011 due to the condition of his right knee and he had failed a medical in January of that year, before a proposed transfer to Stoke City, when the joint was thoroughly examined. Instead he joined West Ham United in the same winter window.
Even with preexisting condition, Demba still gave an impressive performance at Newcastle, he scored 29 times in 51 Premier League starts and was a fans' favorite before his sudden desire to leave.
