Drogba on his way back to Chelsea

Didier Drogba - Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba asks Fifa to relax rules to assist loan move from Shanghai Shenhu
Ivorian  striker and former Chelsea FC player Didier Drogba who now plays for Shangai Shenhua is soon on his way back to Chelsea this month, only this time it’s mainly for training.
The 34-year-old player who left Stamford Bridge last summer now plans to use the club’s Cobham facility to train ahead of the AFCON competitioncoming up  in January, this is coming after he saw FIFA reject his bid to rejoin the Blues on a loan during the Chinese close season.
Drogba was recently in Abidjan where he attended the dedication of the animation “De Tito à Drogba” (from Tito to Drogba). The film narrates the path of the former Chelsea talisman from his childhood to his moments of glory as a footballer.
Speaking to mtnfootball.com  Drogba talks about his return to Chelsea-“I believe there is no other way to prepare than to work. One has to put in enough work. I know my body and I must train seriously to keep in shape. For sure, nothing can replace official competitions. When I chose to go and play in China, I more or less expected this small disadvantage. But, at the same time I hope that it will be one of the reasons that will give me a fresher start at the Afcon.”
