2012 World's highest paid soccer players.

Forbes released its list for the world’s top paid footballers in April, and with a few days left in the year, here is a look at the list, sort of an updated list:
#10.Samuel Eto'o Fils (31-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$15 million
Captain of Cameroon’s national team who currently plays as striker for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala made $15 million with sourcesfrom endorsement deal with Puma and Ford as well as salary/winnings. The former Inter-Milan striker and four times winner of the African player of the year award, has an estimated net-worth of $50 million.
9.Frank Lampard (34-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$17 million
Frank Lampard - Wolverhampton Wanderers v Chelsea - Premier LeagueChelsea FC midfielder who also plays the same position in the national team made $11 million in salary/winning while he made the rest of his earning from various endorsements deals. The English player has an estimated $40 million of net-worth. Lampard was the first midfielder to strike 100 goals in the Premier League.
8.Zlatan Ibrahimovic (31-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$17 million
The Swedish national team skipper and Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain striker made headlines with his magical bicycle kick from 30 yards out in a friendly match against England in November; the goal is believed to be one of the best goals in history. Ibrahimovic altogether has an estimated $60 million of net-worth.
#7.Ricardo Kaka (30-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$20.8 million

Brazilian football midfielder who currently plays for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team earned a total of $6.5 million in endorsements deal and $14.3 million from salary/winnings. He is said to have an estimated $100 million of net-worth.
#6.Thierry Henry (35-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$21 million

The former Arsenal FC legend who also currently plays for the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer was listed by ESPN as one of the league's highest-paid player, with a base salary of $5 million and total compensation of $5.6 million. The rest of his earning comes mainly from his partnership with Gillette which expired in 2011. The French player has an estimated net-worth of $60 million.
#5.Ronaldinho Gaúcho (32-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$24 million
The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year who currently plays for Brazilian side Flamengo, and the Brazilian national team lost his Coca-Cola endorsement deal which netted him $750,000 a year after he was seen drinking a can of Pepsi at a news conference. Ronaldinho is said to have an estimated net-worth of $90 million.
#4.Wayne Rooney (27-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:24.3 million

Rooney made $6.5 million from lucrative sponsorship deals with Electronic Arts and Nike and $17.8 million from salary/winning in this year. The English player and Manchester United forward has an estimated net worth of $50 million.
#3.Lionel Messi (25-year-old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$39 million.
Aside from holding the record for the most goals scored in a calendar year with 86 goals, the Argentine and Barcelona FC striker also made $20 million in salary/winnings and $19 million from endorsements deals. While he sits at #3 on the  list, he recently reached an agreement with  FC Barcelona, renewing his contract  until 2018 and raising his base salary to €16 million net ($21.2 million), this  will make him the highest on-the-pitch earner in soccer. 
#2.Cristiano Ronaldo (27-year-old)
Total earning as of June, 2012:$42.5 million.
Ronaldo sits at # 9 in Forbe’s world wealthiest athletes list earning $22.5 million in endorsements alone and $20.5 million from salary/winnings. The Real Madrid striker and captain of the Portuguese national team has an estimated net-worth of $160 million. Endorsement deals from the likes of Nike, Armani, Coca-Cola and Castrol contributed to his number 2 spot on the list.
#1.David Beckham (37-year -old)
Total earnings as of June, 2012:$45 million.
At #8 in Forbes list of the world’s wealthiest athletes, Beckham earned $37 million in endorsements and $9 million in salary/winning and even though he recently ended his long stay at L.A Galaxy, the English player  still holds an estimated net-worth of $260 million.
