FIFA strips Sudan of 2014 World Cup qualifier win over Zambia

After winning a protest against Sudan in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, FIFA striped Sudan of its 2-0 win and  awarded Zambia with 3 points and 3 goals. In their opening group D qualifier in June, Sudan fielded an unqualified player (Saif Ali) in Khartoum. Zambia protested that Ali played despite receiving yellow cards in previous games, including when Zambia beat Sudan in February in the African Cup of Nations quarterfinal.
FIFA says its disciplinary committee ruled that Saif Ali should not have played in the June 2 match in Khartoum, and in addition to awarding Zambia a 3-0 victory, FIFA also fined Sudan association $6,430.
As of now, Zambia are leading in Group D with 6 points after two games leaving Sudan in third place with 1 point. Ghana has 3 points in the group and are in 2nd place while Lesotho are last with 1 point.
