President Goodluck Jonathan rewards the Falconets.

The Falconets of Nigeria have always been a source of pride and they continue to represent Nigeria in the best way, this includes performance in the recently concluded Women's U20 World Cup which was held in Japan. The Falconet came 4th  after loosing to the US team who eventually emerged champions of the competition.
On Saturday, Nigerian President Jonathan played host to the Paralympians and the Falconet at the State house Banquet Hall in Abuja where he gave each member of the Falconets  a Million Naira for their performance at the world cup. However, Nigerian gold medalist  from  the paralmpics games in London will receive five Million Naira and in addition, a national award, while Silver medalist will  receive three million Naira and two million Naira for bronze medalists, other participants who did not win any medal will each  receive 500,000 Naira.
