Nations Cup: Eagles get early kickoff against Guinea

No comments :
CAF has handed Nigeria an oddly early schedule for their match against Guinea in the final African Cup of Nations 2012 qualifying match on October 8th. The match will start at 2pm at the main Bowl of the National Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria. The Ethiopia vs Madagascar game will be played at the same time in Addis Ababa. Usually, the Super Eagles play their most home games at 4pm due to severe weather, but they would have to make new changes as CAF expects all group games to start and end at the same time.
In order for the Eagles to secure the automatic ticket, they need a two-goal margin to win; already Guinea is leading the group B with 13 points and is followed by Nigeria with 10. Ethiopia and Madagascar have no chance of qualifying as they have four and one points respectively.
