The Warri WOlves have been pushed up to seventh in the Nigeria premier league standing, this is due to their 3-0 home win over Zamfara united. The Nigerian Premier league is seeking more than twelve goals in nine matches in 2011, this weekend fixtures goes to shows courage and a sense of new direction in the league.
The Game: Goodluck Onamado, captain of the Wolves was the magic behind the win over Zamfara, scoring and also setting up a goal. Tochukwu Mbachu had Wolves ahead first before Onamado scored at the end of a mazy run across half the pitch.
There is a gap of over one point at the head of the Premier league standing for the first time this season. This due to Dolphin FC' s win away at crown FC to go ahead of Sunshine Stars at the head of the table.
