Super Eagles friendly:Nigeria vs Italy in London
In preparation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Nigeria’s Football Federation confirmed an international friendly against Italy. The match against the former world champions will be played in Fulham's Cottage stadium in London on November the 18th only 2 days after the Super Eagles face Ethiopia in World Cup play-off second leg which will be held in Calaba, Nigeria.
The announcement came just moments after their 2-1 victory over Ethiopia in the first-leg of the World Cup Qualifiers.
The Super Eagles hope the match against Italy will be preparation for next year's tournament in Brazil.
Meanwhile, the home based Super Eagles will play Jordan in Omman on October the 28th in a match that will serve as preparation for CHAN 2014 in South Africa.
