Nigerian Football Federation reports 'bus attack' from Ethiopian fans to FIFA

Sunday's  match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Ethiopia was not without some drama, members of the NFF have reportedly stated that the bus conveying the Super Eagles was attacked by some disgruntled Ethiopian fans shortly after their 2-1 victory.  According to the NFF, Real Betis midfielder, Nosa Igiebor was injured when the bus windows were shattered as the team left the stadium after their 2-1 win.
NFF Vice President Mike Umeh said the incident has been reported to the FIFA security team at the match venue and he hopes action will be taken.

Igiebor, who was a second-half sub in Sunday’s showdown, was the unlucky one as the stone slashed his right palm leading to profuse bleeding that was immediately attended to by Super Eagles doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran.

On the other end, the Ethiopian Football Association has said it will investigate Nigeria's claim that fans attacked their team bus after the countries' World Cup play-off in Addis Ababa on Sunday.
