CAF confirms host cities for 2015 Nations Cup in Morocco.

The Confederation of African
Football's executive committee reveals the cities for the 2015 African Cup of
Nations which is slated to be held in Morocco, the cities include Rabat,
Marrakech, Agadir and Tangier The venues for Africa’s biggest football competition
was confirmed at CAF’s executive committee meetings on Saturday and Sunday. The
African Football body said Morocco's largest city Casablanca will be the
"alternative" or reserve venue for the tournament, which will run
Jan. 17-Feb. 7.
2017 host nation, Libya were
supposed to host the 2013 tournament, however, due to the 2011 civil war that
ousted the Late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, South Africa hosted the 2013
AFCON. With all the war behind them, the Libyan Football Federation also
submitted cities and venues for approval for its hosting of the 2017 Nations
Cup.
