In preparation for the 2013 Nations Cup, members of the
Nigerian Community in South Africa have started mobilizing support for the Nigerian Super
Eagles.
Speaking in Johannesburg on behalf of the Nigerian Community
in South Africa, Frank Anagu told NAN Monday that 200 tickets for each of the
matches had been purchased for distribution to Nigerians living in both South
Africa and Mozambique to cheer the Eagles during group games.
"We have done a lot of mobilization through the various
Nigerian unions in South Africa and Mozambique for them to come out in their
large numbers to support the team.
"Our plan is to travel a day before any of our matches,
to have a 'one-on-one' encounter with our national team, to motivate and
support them," Anagu said.
