Women's FIFA World Cup:Group D US VS. Nigeria

The Nigerian Super Falcons today played against US Women National team in the Group stages in Vancouver, and unfortunately, crashed out of the competition. USWNT beat the Falcons 1-0 to top their Group D which is being tagged the ‘Group of death’ with other top teams such as Sweden, and Australia.

Even with the efforts from the Super Falcons, U.S legendary player Abby Wambach’s late goal just seconds before end of the first-half of the game guaranteed them a spot for the USWNT in the second round of the ongoing FIFA’S Women World Cup.
