Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor claims his family is using black magic (juju) on him.
Togolese
player Emmanuel Adebayor comes out to say his mom's black
magic has stopped him from high performances in the Premier league.
This is
one of the most bizarre stories or excuses as it is from a
footballer. The Tottenham striker claims that his mum has has used
black magic or better yet, juju to top him from scoring any goals
recently.
Adebayor
managed two goals this season so far and expressed his views on his
short-comings during a recent interview on a Ghanaian radio show where he exposed the ongoing rift with his family after he was accused
of forcing his 62-year-old mother from their their family home.
He
said: “ Obviously I'm not a pastor, I am a footballer so I cannot
point out a witch. I never sacked my mum from the house, she decided
to leave the house.”
“But
how am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one
telling everyone that my work will not go forward. They should stop
talking, talking, they shout stop doing juju on me-they should leave
me along”
His
brother has since responded by saying he has been brainwashed by
Islamic spiritual healers.
