World Cup Qualifiers Results:Nigeria 1-0 Kenya

Kenya midfielder Peter Opiyo andf John Obi Mikel of Nigeria.
The Super Eagles dashed Kenya's hopes of reaching 2014 World Cup final in Brazil Wednesday after winger Ahmed Musa scored a late goal to silence Stars at Kasarani on Wednesday.

At the tail end of the match, precisely at the 80th minute, Musa latched onto a through ball from John Obi Mikel to beat his marker David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng’ before brilliantly chipping the ball over the advancing goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng’ in Kenyan goal.

In the first-half of the game, the Eagles got closer to scoring their very first goal  when Nigeria got their first corner of the match in the 34th minute when a goal bound Musa Ahmed was stopped in his tracks by David Ochieng.

I guess a little bit of paranoia works sometimes, with several controversies trailing their arrival in Nairobi Kenya- earlier yesterday, the Eagles rejected to board the bus arranged for them on their arrival, they also rejected the lodging arrangement made for them and Coach Keshi even went as far as stopping his players drinking water provided by their hosts during Tuesday’s training at Moi Kasarani.

Congratulations Super Eagles!!!
