The Africa XI beat the World XI
4-2 in an entertaining encounter at Micheal Essien's Game of Hope and Inspiration in Ghana on Saturday afternoon. The

raise funds to support underprivileged children in Ghana through the building
of local projects in rural communities. Chelseafc
Essien who recently stated he wants
to reclaim his place in the Chelsea startling line-up represented the Blues in
the game which included now former Chelsea player Florent Malouda, Ricardo
Carvalho, Michael Ballack, Geremi, Jody Morris and youngsters Jamal Blackman
and Jeffrey Bruma.

taken an early lead and rarely looking back.

Okocha, Adebayor, as well as the rest of the Black Stars of Ghana team made up the Africa XI
squad.
African football legend and former Super Eagles player Jay-Jay Okocha

the bar. The Nigerian was also keen to show he had retained his box of tricks
despite his retirement.

were laughs all round when former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Kuffour dived
into a challenge with Florent Malouda, who was sharp enough to jump out of the
way.
