Oyo state Governor, Ajimobi donates N5 million to ailing ex-Super Falcons Coach

Former Super Falcons and Shooting
Stars Coach, Joseph Ladipo who had been battling with heart related ailment for
over a month finally received financial help from Oyo State Governor, Senator
Abiola Ajimobi late Monday, the Governor donated N5 million to his treatment.
The son of the coach, Wale, reached
out to the state and federal governments earlier in the month to come to the
aid of his father who needed N2 million to undergo an immediate heart surgery
at an Ibadan hospital. He revealed that his dad was diagnosed more than a month
ago with heart related ailment and since then has been visiting hospital but
the situation worsened last week.
Oyo State Commissioner for Youth
and Sports, Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina, in company with 3SC board members led by
their Chairman, Mr. Toyin Akintunde, gave out N500, 000 to the family of the
former Leventis United coach and reassured them of the state government's
continuous support to ensure Jossy Lad gets back to full health.
The state government has also
promised to give more support as soon as the family decides on the choice of
hospital to treat him. Lam-Adesina however wished him quick recovery.
Thanks to all the well-meaning Nigerians, praying for the Former Coach's quickest recovery.
