Former Super Eagles defender Shittu Sends Millwall into FA Cup Semi-final
Millwall captain Danny Shittu led
his side into an FA Cup semi-final against Wigan knocking out Blackburn at
Ewood Park. The Nigerian international’s header edged a tense replay with
Championship rivals Blackburn.
Shittu whose only other goal this
season was in the Lion’s 4th round triumph over Aston Villa
converted Chris Taylor's 43rd minute corner to give Millwall their 5th FA
Cup semi-final.
United are due to face Chelsea in
the second quarter-final replay on April 1, with the winners in line to meet
Manchester City.
