Stephan Keshi resigns as head Coach of the Super Eagles.

Barely one day after leading his team to their historical victory, Super Eagles head coach,
Stephan Keshi submitted his resignation to the Nigerian Football
Federation. Keshi is said to have put in his resignation after a very dramatic falling
out with the NFF.
All through the tournament, his future with the team was
very uncertain, and right before the finals against Burkina Faso, Keshi stated
that he would "pack his bags and leave" if he felt he was not
wanted, but following the 1-0 win against Burkina Faso in the Afcon
final, the Coach tendered his resignation as he had a major dispute with the
NFF regarding his duties as a coach.
Speaking at a recent interview, the 51-year-old Coach said: "I
did what I feel is right by resigning," Keshi told Metro FM.
"I gave the NFF a letter
A top NFF official categorically denied that Keshi has quit,
insisting that it is just a rumor
