No fufu or jollof rice for the Super Eagles as they head to South Africa for the Nations Cup.
Only if you care to know :) but there will be no Nigerian food for
the Super Eagles players and their officials as they head out to South Africa for
the Africa Cup of Nations.
Chairman of Nigeria Football Federation finance committee, Dr. Shehu Adamu,
said that the federation did not make any plans to transport any food or caterers to
South Africa since the team did not request for such arrangements. He indicated
however that they willing to accommodate any new request.
"We have not made any arrangements to feed the Eagles
in South Africa because no such request was made, but if need be we can put one
in place to ensure that our players are well fed for the rigors of AFCON.
