Still in preparation for the 2013 Nations Cup, the Super
Eagles took on Dutch side, Sparta Rotterdam on Saturday at the Browns Sports
and Leisure Club in Faro Portugal where they came off with a 1-0 victory.
The first half of the match remained goalless
despite several efforts from both sides however; it was Emmanuel Emenike's goal
that gave the Super Eagles a 1-0 win over Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam just 10
minutes into the second-half of the match. CSKA Moscow forward, Ahmed Musa played
a vital role by delivering the ball safely to Emenike who then fired the
winning goal.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will begin their AFCON 2013
campaign with a match against Zambia on January 21 in Nelspruit.
