Estranged Nigerian international Osaze Odemwingie saved the day with a late equalizer
and at the same time gave West Brom some points. Aston Villa had a two-goal
lead early in the game but with the 2-2 draw, they remain at the bottom 3 of Barclays
Premier League
Christian Benteke opened the scoring with a superb finish
and later, a goal from Gabriel Agbonlahor right before end of the first-half doubled
Villa's lead.
Returning the favor in the second-half of the game, Albion
skipper Chris Brunt pulled a goal back early in the half and former QPR
forward Odemwingie evened the score just 7 minutes before stoppage time.
Just a few hours after a spectacular performance Osaze
Odemwingie had another reason to celebrate, the 31-year-old striker and his newly
wedded wife Sarah welcomed their baby boy early Sunday, January 20, 2013. The
proud father made the announcement via twitter today. Congratulations to the
beautiful couple!!!
